The department of Medical Oncology headed by Dr.K.V.Ganagadharan MD(Med),DM(Oncology) provides medical expertise in multidisciplinary programmes for the treatment and prevention of solid tumours in adults. Facilities are available to undertake outpatient chemotherapies in a specialized day-care unit. Various surgical interventions are possible for the cancer like Bladder Cancer, Bone Cancer, Cervical Cancer, Colectral Cancer, Gastric (stomach) Cancer, Head & Neck Cancer and Lung Cancer.
