The department is headed by Dr. C.S.Raviprakash,MD(Path), DCP, who has immense experience as a Histopathologist and Pathologist both in India and abroad.
 
Round-the-clock services of laboratory medicine offers investigations in Histopathology, Cytopathology, Clinical Pathology, Haematology, Cytology including FNAC, Biochemistry, Immunology, Microbiology, Serology. Rapid tests for diagnosis of tuberculosis namely Hexagon TB is also performed. Other than the routine investigations, this department conducts the following special tests.
